Dear Woman: Get Well Letters of Hope is an devotional for women with endometriosis. It is an inspirational memoir of one woman's ten-year fight with endometriosis. Chavos understands what it's like to experience endometriosis pelvic pain, killer cramps, nausea, fatigue, isolation, shame and infertility. She writes with an open, vulnerable, and candid conversational style about her fears, discouragements, doubts, anger, hope-deferred heart, and victories in this devotional/memoir.

There's a term in boxing called the "Tale of the Tape." It compares the contenders stats to each other. Well, I'm doing a play on words, 'The Tell of the Tape" for National Endometriosis Awareness Month starting March 1.

My Anthem

I’m a fighter
If my yellow and pink tape could talk
It would tell you,
I’ve gone toe to toe with the Dreaded Endo.

This silent opponent is fierce, fiendish and frightful,
But I fight because that’s what I was born to do.

I’ve won some rounds
And lost some, too.
My insides have scars of black and blue.

The fight is hard, but I’m resilient and relentless.
The fight is hard, but there’s hope in my heart and faith in my corner.
The fight is hard, but I rise with a Jab, counter, right hook, and upper cut
Though I’m weak at times, I am tough!

I’m a fighter
If my yellow and pink tape could talk
It would tell you,
I’ve gone toe to toe with the Dreaded Endo.

With a knockout blow.
Endo will fall and hit the mat
Endo will end.
And I will win because I’m a fighter.

In Hope,
Chavos B
